The disappearing payment confirmation.
An intermittent checkout failure surfaced only after a payment retry. I mapped the state transition, reproduced it across network conditions, isolated an idempotency gap and added regression coverage around the recovery path.
EXPECTED: one completed payment → one confirmation
OBSERVED: completed payment → stale checkout state
RESULT: retry flow hardened + regression scenario added
