The photographer
Chasing the glow around the edge.
Halation is the warm bloom that appears when light spills beyond a photograph's boundary. My work is built around that idea: the most memorable images often contain something unexpected at their edges.
I photograph people, places and objects with an editorial eye and a documentary instinct. My process is calm, collaborative and attentive to the small gestures that cannot be art-directed.
