02 / Studio statement
Paint what moves.
My practice is built around optical movement: diagonal planes, overlapping fields and color relationships that shift depending on where the eye lands. The painter's hand stays visible, but the composition keeps changing.

Works that refuse to sit still.
A selection across large-format abstraction, figurative color studies and intimate works on paper. Each piece is presented as a visual proposition rather than a catalog entry.
After the Orange Hour
Oil, acrylic and graphite on linen. A sunset study stretched into a large atmospheric field where hot orange slips through violet, green and almost-black passages.
Blue Room, Moving Figure
A portrait study built from broken planes of cobalt, rose and warm skin tones.

Ink, pastel and gouache studies exploring pressure, atmosphere and horizon lines.
04 / The studio rhythm
Layer. Pull. React.
The process is deliberately responsive. I build enough structure to begin, then let accidents, drying times, scraped surfaces and new color decisions redirect the painting.
Prime
Prepare the ground and establish the first value map, keeping the surface open enough for the painting to change direction.
Interrupt
Introduce contrasting marks, scrape back passages and move color across boundaries until a visual tension appears.
Resolve
Protect the strongest gestures, quiet the noise and stop when the composition holds more energy than explanation.
