Sensor-to-system engineering

I build devices that listen.

Embedded firmware, connected hardware and edge intelligence for products that need to sense the real world and respond to it without drama.

02 / Profile

From pin to product.

Great IoT work is where electronics, firmware, networks and human outcomes meet.

Systems should feel simple, even when the stack is not.

I design embedded systems with measurable behaviour: deterministic firmware, thoughtful power budgets, resilient connectivity and telemetry that tells the truth. My projects span rapid prototypes through production-minded device architecture.

That means debugging with a logic analyzer, profiling a packet path, tuning a control loop, then documenting the decision so the next engineer can move faster.

A full signal chain.

Expertise is shown as ignition points rather than generic percentages, because embedded depth depends on the system around it.

Selected field notes.

Case studies foreground the device constraint, the engineering move and the result, not just the parts list.

CASE 01 · INDUSTRIAL SENSING

PulseNode vibration monitor

A low-power edge node that samples machine vibration, detects abnormal patterns locally and publishes compact events over MQTT.

ESP32FreeRTOSMQTTFFT
CASE 02 · SMART ENERGY

WattWeave gateway

Designed a resilient meter gateway with buffered telemetry, OTA firmware flow and clear failure recovery when connectivity disappears.

STM32BLELoRaOTA
CASE 03 · EDGE AI

QuietWatch acoustic node

An always-on acoustic classifier that turns raw microphone input into privacy-preserving local events instead of streaming audio.

Open to thoughtful hardware

Signal in.
Good work out.

I enjoy the messy middle: the first unstable prototype, the inexplicable packet loss, the power-budget tradeoff, and the moment the system finally behaves.
